Rhine Falls was the second stop of our day, after visiting Stein am Rhein (see previous post). I am going to start with a disclaimer: these photos do not do this place justice. With the bordering castle, the beautiful fall colours, and the gorgeous day, the pictures did not turn out how they should have. Nonetheless, we had fun walking around and checking out the largest waterfalls in Europe.

We took a boat across the water to visit the castle (which was only about CHF 8!) , which we toured for a few minutes. On the way up, there are several lookouts at different heights. It allows you to fully feel the power of the falls, which I tried to capture and post on my video page if you want to check it out!

The falls had nothing on Niagara, but they were beautiful. If you're ever in the area, it is definitely worth the stop!
