I'm a little late posting this as it was a couple of weeks ago now that we visited the Lichtenstein Castle, but we have been busy!

Thanks to some apartment issues, we have had to temporarily move until ours gets fixed. So we packed up and moved our things, until we have to do it all again in a few weeks. All part of this adventure!

We stopped at the castle on our way home from Rothenburg. It was still rainy/snowy, and was so cold. We got there a few minutes before the final tour of the day, so we took a few pictures and hid out underneath our umbrella.

The castle isn't as big as some others here, but the view is phenomenal. It overlooks a town, and we were lucky enough to visit when there were still a lot of fall colours in the trees. I can only imagine how nice it would be on a warm, clear day.

We toured the inside, but were not allowed to take any pictures. A duke and his family still live here and visit often in the warmer months.

The tour normally takes place in German, but we were lucky enough to only have two other people who were also english, so she was nice enough to do the entire thing so we could understand!

It was the first castle that we have toured, although we have driven by several. This one is one of the smaller ones I have heard about, but still worth a visit if you're passing through.

I'm sure we would have spent more time exploring around if our toes weren't soaking wet!
