Disneyland Paris

From the moment I first saw the commercial with the flying dumbos and the castle twinkling with lights when I was little, I dreamed of going to Disneyworld. I finally got to go to both Disneyworld Orlando and Disneyland, California.
We knew we would go to Paris at some point during this year, and I don't know how but I had forgotten that there was a Disneyland there. As I was browsing ideas of what we needed to see in Paris, I came across Disneyland. How could I have missed this?! Obviously, we had to go.
We arrived to Paris late Sunday evening, and were leaving Tuesday night. Even though there was so much to see in two days in Paris, I really wanted to spend a day at Disney. So on Monday morning, off we went.

We started the day by taking a train from Paris, right to the gates of Disney. There were a few hiccups using the metro, but overall it was pretty easy to use. (Would have been much tougher if I didn't speak french).
There are two parks, including Hollywood Studios. We got our tickets and headed there first as there seemed to be fewer things on this side. It ended up having our favourite rides, and we came back to do them all again.

After a late night, a long train ride, and getting our tickets, we were excited but still a little slow moving. We read to do "Crush's Coaster" first as it always has long lines, but it was temporarily shut down. Instead, we grabbed fast passes to Ratatouille and got in line for Tower of Terror.
This ended up being the longest we waited on a ride, which was still only 20 minutes.

For some reason, even though it was busy, all the rides we wanted to go on were a super short wait.
We had both been on this ride before, and thought we knew what to expect. We did not remember how many drops there were and how scary it was. We had so much fun.
I'm so glad we did this first, because when we got off, it was like we drank 10 energy drinks between the two of us. We basically skipped to the next ride, and couldn't wait to get on something else. I highly recommend doing this first, to give you the adrenaline rush you need for the day. We ended up coming back over to ride again after going to other park.

Next, skipping to the line, we rode the "Rock 'N' Roller Coaster". This Aerosmith themed ride very quickly became our new favourite. We pretty much walked right on, and loved every speeding second of it. We ended up riding it three times, and we would have rode it all day.
Other than our two favourite rides, we did the Armageddon special effects show and the Ratatouille 4D ride. Both a lot slower than our first two, but it was nice to slow down the pace a bit. When we came back later in the afternoon, Crush's Coaster was open. I was expected a slow, kid-friendly ride but wanted to ride it because of my love for Finding Nemo. We were pleasantly surprised by the fast, spinning roller coaster, and would definitely ride it again.

We then headed over to disneyland to ride some of our classic favourites. There wasn't really anything here in Paris that wasn't at other parks, but the magic was just the same. To get to the park, you walk under the main hotel, and it looks like it would be so dreamy to stay here some day.

At this park, we rode Space Mountain and Indiana Jones twice. We also did Pirates of the Caribbean, Big Thunder Mountain and the Haunted house.

It was well into the day before we realized we hadn't taken any pictures yet. We were so happy that we decided to take a day of our Paris trip to come here. We love touring new cities and seeing the sites, but it was so nice to spend the day just having fun. We were like two kids running around the park, and our biggest decision was what ride to get on next.

We had a great day and were exhausted by the end. I would highly recommend anyone to visit the Park if they are anywhere close to Paris.
